Project Statement

The Owner for this exciting new home had strong goals for the landscape. The modern design of the architecture paired with the request for –absolutely no lawn- required a unique landscape solution. Lastly, the plant palette selection was to collect a loose, native look organized around boulders and stone hardscape. The result is a well orchestrated, unexpected balance of grasses, perennials, and flowering shrubs that invite wildlife to visit. The carefully selected bloom and foliage colors were intended to provide an elevated contrast against the dramatic dark blue siding color of the house.
