Project Statement
The Owners of this Governor’s Club home wished to renovate the landscape to create a boulder garden retreat. The native stone found on Edwards Mountain provided a resource that allowed for the natural construction of wonderful amenities such as a water fall feature, terraced gardens, patios, pathways, and fire pit. Every space resides effortlessly on the terrain to provide pleasing garden rooms for relaxation and entertaining.
The landscape plantings sweep down the hillside slope into articulated stone walls and adjacent to feature boulders and dry creeks. Colorful seasonal bulbs, golden highlights of Abelia and Osmanthus, and floating blooms of Redbud and Fringe Trees accent this spring landscape.
