Project Statement

The owners of this MacGregor Downs home in Cary, North Carolina desired an updated landscape design in their rear yard that included a backyard oasis with a pool, fountain and entertaining area. A covered pergola was designed for the west end of the pool to accommodate an outdoor kitchen and seating area with a feature fireplace. Tall evergreen trees were planted to screen the pool area from the adjoining golf course and to provide a backdrop for a classic sculpture garden. The landscape design includes a variety of southern plant materials for seasonal interest with clipped evergreens and flowering annuals for year-round interest.
